Gohan not eating! Empty Gohan not eating!

Gohan has not eaten in 5 days but seems bright and alert. I did change his cage last night and he seems rather upset. He had been burrowing until after his cleaning. He tried to get a worm last night and it kept getting away from him so he seemed like he gave up. His color is good and he has pooped. He's been treated for Chytrid so I'm not concerned about that. He's at 80degrees F. and 70/85% humidity. When should I reeally worry?

Hey there, how old is your little guy? Pac mans have been known to go months without food, I wouldn't worry, but I would also throw a few crickets in there when you go to bed and check the cage in the morning.

sounds like a well started frog. This is normal then. As they age, they don't eat as frequently. If he looks good I wouldn't worry at all.

I saw pics of him, hes good size. Don't expect him to eat daily, or even weekly sometimes, hes a big well started guy Smile Enjoy him, hes a good one.

Your frog is upset since you changed its coco-fiber/substrate and is not eating huh? Yeah, I can see mine doing that as well if I changed it right now. I just sponged down the logs and glass sides. I am gonna leave them be as they really like to stay in the burrows they make. I added fresh coco fiber before on the old in my Pyxie terrariums and had no trouble. I shall do the same for my Horned frogs I am thinking after readin your post. Just let him/her settle in and you will see it going after food soon. It may be just acting like this in the winter months. My Oranate and Cornuta have not gone after food for about 2 days now. I am gonna try again tonight. Not to worry if they are not interested in food. These frogs can go without food for 3 months what I learned on Fatfrogs. And I have only seen mine eat a full grown mouse a month as for it goes for my 2 year old Brown Phase C. Cranwelli that has been astevating going on for 5 months now come March. I will let him stay in dormacy like I did last year untill April.
