I want a squirrel or something. I want a mammal (not a cat or dog) that lives for like 10 years atleast(8-10 maybe) Not sure what I want, any ideas?

Get a sugar glider, or a chinchilla. Once they get tame and are used to you, they make great companions.

Or you can get a Degu. They act almost like a squirrel and you can train them with treats. Craisesns are one of their Favorite treats. They can live up to 8 yrs. Mine have lived to 9 1/2.
