We're going to adopt Cotton!!!!

Yes!!! It looks like Cotton is going to find a new home and I cannot wait to welcome him!! Cotton lives in Kentucky and I live in Maine. They are just looking to find volunteers to go get him and bring him up to us! We might have to meet them out of state, but any where is closer than Kentucky. I am so happy! Can not wait to see him!!!

WOOHOO! Congratulations!!!! I am excited for you all. What awesome news and a great way to start the week (especially for a Monday hater!). Keep us updated when you can get him and we of course then expect lots of pictures of the new family.

thank you, Sheri. Very excited!!! And of course there will be plenty of pics. Tammy went in to pay the vet today and when she got there, they said they had something for us. They had made us an clay ornament and in the middle was Brody's paw print, with the words, Brody, written on the side. When I saw that I started to cry and thought how nice it was for them to do this! My vet is very nice.

OMG, how thoughtful and what a wonderful heartfelt gift. But then again, like you said, Brody was one special boy!

I'm so glad you guys decided to follow your hearts and give Cotton a much needed home. The vet staff deserves big hugs for the incredible jesture!!!!

Well....a date has been set. We are picking Cotton up in Boston Sunday night around 7! It's going to be awesome, but not the ride back. That's over 3 hours away. 3 hours down and 3 hours back....but he's worth it!!!!! I'm soooooo excited!

I'm just waiting and waiting and waiting. Yes, it will be a long week! I'm already wondering what he's doing now and I have not even been introduced. I already consider him mine! I hope he has a good trip up here and hope he doesn't mind the weather change!!! LOL! I know it's probably a hell of a lot nicer in Kentucky than Maine this time of year. Well...he better get used to it. His name it seems will be changed. Tammy is not too fond of the name, Cotton, and she's thinking of calling him, Jack (as for my allure with Jack Skellington). I have final say, since it is my dog, but.....you know these women! If they don't get their way.....
