Tomato Frogs

Overview
Tomato frogs are both beautiful and interesting frogs. They are fairly easy to keep and also come in a range of colors that make them a good choice for beginners.

Tank Size
2 adult males could be kept in a 15 gallon tank. While a mixed gender few could be kept in a 20 long tank.

Humidity
Humidity should be kept fairly high all the time.

Heating
Daytime temperatures should be around lower 80's while nighttime temps can drop to low 70's.

Substrate
Eco-earth or coco fiber should be used.

Tank Decor
Logs or broad leaf plants should be included to give them many places to hide. These are large frogs and cannot climb on plants so any vertical climbing objects are unnecessary. Although they might get on top of logs or rocks you put in there at night.

Feeding
Good food items include crickets, nightcrawlers, krill (for color), occasional pinkies, and roaches. Crickets should be dusted every other feeding for babies, and once a week for adults. Adults should be fed a couple times a week while babies should be given large meals every other day or small meals every day.

I hope this helped anyone with questions on Tomato frogs.
