love your plecos!!! I had one that was about a foot long, then it died. Probably old age. I have a 70 gallon tank with a earthmover Geophagus and two Severum, one's a green and the other a gold and they have paired up. They've laid eggs a dozen of times, but nothings come of them. I think it would be neat to see the combination between the two. I'll put pics up, once my wife brings back the camera. Ohhh...by the way, welcome to the forum!!! Very Happy

All my plecos are still small, but at least 3 of those species get over a foot long.

I had a foot long "common" pleco, but my damn tilipia decided to eat him one day.

yeah those red tails get to be monsters!!!! I know a fish breeder that had one and when I went over the thing was in this 100 gallon tank and it had to be almost two feet long! Incredible, but what a beautiful fish!!!!

I am a huge fan of plecos myself. You have so many and they are all so interesting. I didn't know there are so many different ones. Great pictures as always.

They can get to be 4feet long in the wild Smile
