Anyone seen these for sale at shows or stores near you? Bufo paracnemis

Paraguay stopped exporting them a few years back, great toads, wanted to get another one here in the USA.

I found one on glades herps for $250, but $250 is way too much for a rococo, also I think it was sold......... crazy.

Let me know if you spot these.

Rococo toads are pretty cool. I wish I could get my hands on some as well.

Glades herps had a huge one for sale for orginally for $500 then they took 50% off to $250.

I have a hard time justifying $250 for a toad especially if I bought for around 60 pounds ($120) back in the uk.

I was tempted but $250 is out of my price range for a rococo toads, I could see $250 being charged for a Blombergs toad (if they ever were sold) or a 10inch + suriname cane toad.

Greg If I find any rococos I'll let you know.

The last time I saw a rococo was at a frog exhibit at the science museum near me. As I figured it was very kid oriented but I wanted to see what they had. It really sucked. They had whites, FBT's, GTFs, euro toads, and others (that I can't remember because this was months ago) in the same tank with a FBT bellyup in the water. The rococo was with a cane, tomato frog, pyxie, annnddd some other biggn. They had several others labeled on there that weren't in there so obviously they had a couple casualties with this dangerous mix. Then they had a "tad tank" which I put in parentheses because they were mossies that were finished morphing. Pretty ones too, I should've tried to take them off their hands. They also had a completely empty tank was said to have P.Sauvagii, P. Bicolor, and a couple others in it. Sad. I expect this kind of thing from petstores, but this science museum really dropped the ball. It's not even like its a low funded place. It's the Imax place. And theres only like what, 3(?) of these in the world?

So i found a rococo toad for sale. Here's the link. Large female.

http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=124855

Made an offer............which was rejected......apparently someone has offered $750 for her!!! That is a record for a rococo toad for me.

Was it you Greg that made the $750 offer? lol

Dunno about what you all think, but $750??? Is that a crazy amount or is it just me?
