My introduction
Hi,
I am new and was invited by BullfrogGreg. I am 22 years old and have been into herps since I was 6 years old (Josh aka JawsofaFrog). I was the kid catching Pacific Tree Frogs and Wood Frogs in the hills of Vallejo, Ca where I grew up. My 1st frog was a Green Tree Frog which was not wild caught was given to me on my sixth birthday which my parents surprised me that afternoon. That frog lived a full life with me for 2 years. It was named Sammie after a school friend of mine. Oh, Oh! There goes one of my male African Bullfrogs croaking while I am typing this! Back to me, then I visited a local Petco where a reptile expert introduced me to "Pacman frogs" as he helped me with my crickets when I was 15 years old. He actually gave me his personal phone number because I was so into frogs. I would talk his ear off... Then right after owning several Cranwelli's (brown phase which I read at the time was the Chaconan Horned frog, green pahse, and albino. The 1st I owned and learned with was a green phase from Petco.) I purchased a young sub-adult African Bullfrog. Then when we moved into this new home I was forced to give them all up the following year. Then at age 16 I purchased 2 baby Pyxie's for my 16th birthday. At age 16 I bought several Fire-Bellie Toad Bombina orientalis. I had a breeding pair that summer that gave me over 40 toadlets mid summer. I got overwhelmed and got store credit from my local herp shop http://www.eastbayvivarium.com/ They both turned out to be males, about 7 inches long. In September 2001 a week before 9/11 I wanted a reptile, I went to my local herp shop and ened up with a nice Irian Jaya Blue Tongue Skink. It was a skink that had MBD (Metalbolic Bone Disease). He was 10 inches and was nursed back to health with my expertise (vitamin D3). I was told he was a favoriate at the store and a call was made the minute he was sold at the store that day. Now I just bought last Thursday a Blue Tongue Skink breed I have been interested and holding at shops WC and CB specimens for some time now.The Tanimbar Island Blue Tongued Skink. You can see his video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzBgxXgbrWw (Then I moved out to a Dormitory at age 18 and had to move on without herps. Now I purchased 3 Horned frogs last year along with & 2 baby African Bullfrogs which turned out to be males too

Re: My introduction
I think I need to do my own introduction here. I'll try not to sound too much like a dufus.
